On Monday 8th February Xanadu cleared Sentinel's Fate by killing Master Yael



That now leaves us some time to relax a little before Destiny of Velious, farm for a few missing drops that might take some time to replace in the new expansion and generally make sure we enter the next expansion rested and keen.

After the server merger over the 3rd-4th of February we started a fresh Underfoot Depths on Sunday 6th, things looked promising straight away with the server being ~5000 miles closer to the majority of our members. We quickly cleared through wing 2 and were cleared through wing 3 before the end of Sunday evening and at the foot of Yael. Monday seen a little server lag with the heavy load and possibly more guild in UD that evening, but still nothing as bad as we experienced on Runnyeye. Throughout the whole evening working on Yael we had very few issues with members going LD, unlike on Runnyeye where at least 1 person would have a client crash every 5 minutes on Yael, Most pulls usually had at least 2-3 people at a time going link dead, sometimes 5+ people (whole groups) at the same time all having their client lock up and need reloading, Which understandably can cause a lot of problems on fights like Yael, especially when the script seems to know when people are LD and sacrifice them (especially if it's the MT), it really didn't help motivation when 70% of wipes were a result of LDs. With the majority of the issues gone we made some solid progress and after some gentle whipping to get people performing at the top of their game we finally took him down. With one of our community members in the raid on their defiler with legendary legs and shoulders and some unspeakables as jewellery and half of his T3 armour was the scout chain we'd forced on him for crit mit over the past week, quite probably one of the least geared characters ever to face Yael and win. Our kill time was 21 minutes which wasn't bad considering a less than ideal setup, we should be able to nibble that down to around 15 minutes with a more ideal raid and with some more practice.

We're all greatly looking forward to Destiny of Velious and are recruiting to fill up our roster ready to start strong.
